This dealership has attempted to diagnose and repair the same noise defect since March 27, 2024, and after two years of repeated attempts, the defect remains unresolved.
Across this period, every misdiagnosis, failed repair attempt, and escalation occurred at this dealership. Despite multiple visits and extensive time without the vehicle, the original noise remained.
During my most recent visit from February 13 to March 26, 2026 (42 days), the dealership stopped providing updates after March 5. Best service department ever!
Unlike most dealer service departments Santa Monica Maserati has their act together. I have had only 5 star service over the years with every visit. I have had Ken as our service agent for several years who handles every aspect of the service in a professional and courteous manner.

Clean, tidy and they have a lovely coffee machine! They were very welcoming upon entry and Elena wasted no time to get the ball rolling. Can’t tell you how much I love doing business with this dealership. Both Kevin and Paul Marino went above and beyond the call of duty for me. Not to many certified service for Fiats left, so with the handful in southern California I was ready to make this review as I was paying attention to quality service on both the car and customer. When I called I spoke with Ben, he assured me the car I wanted was there, and that he would have it available for me to test drive. The Santa Monica dealership was awesome! I actually was buying the vehicle from out of town and they made that whole process very easy and straightforward. Kevin Krumpak was so on point he noticed that I forgot the second set of keys at the dealership and took time out of his busy schedule to drive them over to me and my wife we’re having dinner. Service rep did well, took me early and executed additional requested tasks. Maintenance was done, although there were some unchecked maintenance notifications on the dash, oil on my floormats, and a red engine indicator on my service form with no initial explanation. I had to call back so they could explain what indicated there was a problem with my engine. Nice small customer lobby, they had 2 tvs but none of them were on or was there a remote nearby. My experience with Santa Monica Maserati was excellent! Sadie helped me and she was very professional. She stayed in constant communication with me in regards to repair updates and part notifications. She assisted me with rental car coverage during my service visit . 5 Strata due to Casey O’brien, he was the most excellent service host ever! Otherwise I would have given only 4 stars due to my PRIOR first appointment experience which was awful & ran over 3 hours late so no car wash and dirty handprints all over my white interior!
My experience in purchasing my car at Maserati in Santa Monica was outstanding. Everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. They go out of their way to make you comfortable, providing excellent customer service. Elena is kind, patient and didn't hesitate to answer all of our questions. Paul helped with the paperwork and was very very patient too. They both accommodated us by staying late to make my dream car mine and they make a great team. This is the only time I've worked with the dealership twice. First, when I leased my Gulia know when I just leased the Stelvio. The communication was great. And I felt happy with the outcome.
Friendly, professional and willing to make a deal. To be honest though, Elena was the only sales person who showed the initiative to engage me when I walked in. Everyone else simple continued looking down at their phones, most likely enjoying TikTok or IG. Elena is a hustler and she got the sale.
I asked for one simple thing which was to fix everything that would eliminate all lights on the dashboard & after paying over 2k I pick my car up with lights on my dashboard still. So annoying & inconsiderate.
